Do you need to learn to trust yourself?
Trust – especially self trust is a big deal. HUGE. In which case this question has likely brought up a few icky feelings, especially if you know intrinsically that the answer is no (or perhaps ‘how can I when I don’t know who I am?’). Using Human Design to learn to trust yourself is a beautiful gift you can give yourself.
Ugh.
It’s the feeling of trust that’s been on my mind for a while now.
You have to have trust in someone to know that they’ll be there for you – right?
My journey of learning to trust myself has reached profound new levels on my journey.
Sometimes, especially when it comes to family, friends or work, if I’ve made a promise, I will be more likely to fulfil that, than fulfil a promise I made to myself.
Because I don’t want to let them down, or break their trust.
OMG! WHAT DID I JUST SAY?
that kinda hit me in the face.
How this now reads is
‘It’s okay to let myself down, but not other people’.
OUCH!
(is this you as well?)
It landed just after a business intensive day I invested in (the most I’ve ever invested in any in person workshop! it’s good to stretch yourself) with Koogar Marketing where we were exploring what’s standing in our way of owning/stepping into being the business owners we know we are capable of being.
I feel weird even writing about this, but I’m doing it because integrity is one of my core values – I can’t be honest with people who come to work with me, and teach them to be honest with themselves, if I’m denying my own truths.
Just nope!
Learning to trust yourself
As someone passionate about personal development, I know how important it is to learn to trust your decision making skills vs your instinctual levels of inner trust.
Human Design absolutely helps you figure this out in a way you can’t ignore!
This is a fundamental part of what I help others fulfil.
So – if I’m still on a journey of learning Self Trust, how can I model this for anyone else?
The experimentation journey I am on to find how to instil this level of trust is one I’m thrilled to be able to share – it’s not just for me.
Learning to trust myself in a deeper way helps me see what works, the skills I learn and the tools I use are malleable and adaptable enough to be able to teach and help you embody them too.
This is exactly why I am able to help guide you further forwards on your own journey of trust.
Being honest about the journey, and what’s required is actually one of my favourite parts.
I keep things real.
Does this resonate with you? Does self-trust feel like something you need to explore further?
Maybe we need to talk? I’d love to hear from you if this is something you need help with.
I know – you’re unsure what it would be like to invest in yourself – perhaps for the first time.
You don’t know how it would feel to work with me – on YOU?
