Ask yourself some questions – questions that you want to know the answers to!
All too often we are so busy ‘being busy’ or doing, constantly that we don’t give ourselves time to stop and think. In creating this HEARTfelt Habits series I’m giving you the gift of a few minutes for yourself to gently find ways to create thinking space.
To know what questions you might want answers to, give yourself a minute now to think what it might be that you need. Ask yourself ‘what do I need?’ – but instead of trying to find the answers, don’t think too hard!

You could just get a piece of paper and write down that question what do I need?
You are asking yourself, but it could be what do you need in your situation? What is it that’s missing in your circumstances in your personal space? What’s not working for you currently? Whether it be your home life or something that’s going on for you internally, or maybe something in your work life that isn’t working for you?
What is it that you actually need? By asking this question you can really start to put your head to one side and just think about it for a moment. Because how often do we actually ask anything of ourselves, that isn’t about someone else?
How often do you do that? Is that something that you tend to avoid? Something you don’t have time for? Is it something that you don’t really want to know the answers to? I’m asking this with a bucketload of love and admiration for you. Because sometimes we ask these questions and we realise that the answer is actually something that could actually make such a difference in our lives, but we don’t really want to think about it.
Is there something that you need that you’re not being honest with yourself about? Do you have everything you need? Do you give yourself everything you need?
Ask yourself whatever question it might be that you feel like you’re avoiding asking. Maybe that question is Who Am I? That’s a bit of an epic one.
And if you need a little bit more help – the clue is in the title. Just ask!
